Over this series which - started a year and a half ago - we've touched on topics that include AUTHENTICITY; passion at work; personal BRANDING; community connections and NETWORKING; navigating career TRANSITION and much more... all through a unique BIPOC lens and what these identities mean in the workplace.

This session will be our LAST LIVE-ZOOM conversation! After 1.5 years we have plans to evolve this series and make our dialogues with amazing folks even more accessible. Before we take a summer break and launch into our new phase, we're excited to close out this chapter by CONNECTING IN COMMUNITY, CONVERSATION and REFLECTION to celebrate and set personal intentions around Juneteenth!

JUNETEENTH commemorates the June 19, 1865 announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas and the emancipation of African-American slaves throughout the Confederate South. Officially known as Emancipation Day and also called JUNETEENTH INDEPENDENCE DAY and FREEDOM DAY, Canada's official EMANCIPATION DAY Day is also just around the corner on August 1 - the anniversary of when Britain's Parliament abolished slavery in the British Empire in 1834.

SO... what better way to wrap-up our current Candid Career Convos format than with a FOCUS ON YOUR VOICES and what freedom means in our modern day world as we navigate employment, work spaces, corporate structures with varying degrees of perceived and TRUE FREEDOM.
